Is it easy to be different nowadays?!

Is it easy to be "different" nowadays?

It is hard to be different nowadays because difference has a lot in common with unknown.

           All the people live in time period, where word "difference" has so many appearances. I think that as we go deeper, we might realize that people are not interested in what that word really means, but what it rouses in them. 

           As we are born, we are raised by our parents, who show us the way of life. We are only accustomed to things, which we have already seen or heard about, we have trust in them. As we grow up our journey gets out of the way and we realize that there is much more on our planet. That part, which people are not used to. The part, which scares them because it is unknown and I believe that: "Difference has a lot in common with unknown."

           First of all it seems to me that struggle of inequality is improving every year. In my view, being different was much harder in the past than it is now. This can be caused by more knowledge, informations and events to raise awareness of inclusion nowadays. As I said difference is based on unknown and I think that it is pretty natural. So to sum up, I would say that when things will not be unknown anymore, people will be open for much more difference in the world. We should not trust the first sight, but we should rather get to know that person or situation better.

          One may be different in lot of ways. Color of the skin, sexuality, attitude to life, religion, style and so on. All of these factors are so powerful; they can connect people, but also divide them and so because of that I think that it is hard to be different nowadays. People defend what they have and what they love. As for example religion has always been a cause of war and I think that it will always be. It is something you are born with and you protect it. It is stronger than you. 

          What is more these things might lead to bullying, most often in young age. I think that kids and teenagers nowadays, have this image of how perfection should look like because they see it on daily bases - in advertisements, on social media and so on. These things in-directly influence them and seeing something different can disconcert them. 

            Moreover I think that unfortunately there will always be people who will look at one differently because of his or hers peculiarity. Every single one of us is different and like different things. There will never be people who all like the same film, have the same religion or work the same job. There will always be differences between us and people who will judge one for being different than they are.

         

               In conclusion besides of all those bad consequences, it is beautiful to be different and to protect what we love. I believe that happiness can be found after we find ourselves in the true and special perspective. In first case I considered that people are scared of difference because they do not have a lot of informations of that. It can be a person, which you do not know or a style of clothing, which you have not seen before. I believe that education, knowledge and wide view can open our eyes. Secondly I noted that the ways in which one may be different are all powerful and people do not like to make compromises in these cases. Thirdly I realized that people in media are giving us the image of perfection and everything other is considered as not good enough. So, yes it is hard to be different and stand for it, but it is definitely worth it! Do not remember that: "Things are never as bad as they seem at first.“
